HTML5 Tools Jam 2011

by Darren Torpey on December 16th, 2010

Our first-ever HTML5 Tools Jam was held on January 8th, and 9th, 2011 at the Singapore/MIT GAMBIT Game Lab. It was co-hosted by Darius Kazemi darius@bostongamejams.com and Darren Torpey darren@bostongamejams.com

It was a game-jam-style event where we focused on building tools for HTML5 game development. The idea was to teach each other what we know and learn together at a rapid pace while building real tools to aid the open-source HTML5 game development community. We ended up with some good work on tools to help people “game jam” with HTML5 tech at future events.

I wrote up the results of the jam in my HTML5 Tools Jam awesomeness blog post.

Hi Toby,

I wrote up the results in a separate blog post, but until today I hadn’t updated this page to link to it. Thanks for the reminder. I’ve updated the page now to link to the results wrap-up post.
